Obituary for Alison Ashley Lynden Jonckheere-Csinos

Jonckheere-Csinos, Alison Ashley Lynden (March 24, 1986 – June 30, 2022) –

It is with deep sadness that we, the Jonckheere family, wish to announce the sudden passing of our much-loved daughter, mother, niece, and friend, Alison Ashley Lynden Jonckheere-Csinos, on Thursday, June 30th, 2022, at her late Tillsonburg residence, at the young age of 36. In recent months, Alison sadly struggled with addiction. In better times, Alison enjoyed keeping busy and working and she was always a “good person with a sweet soul.” Alison will be greatly missed by her mother Jeanne Jonckheere-West, of Tillsonburg (stepfather Rick West), and by her much-loved child “Jack” Jonckheere. Alison is lovingly remembered by her best friend Daniel Shortt and she is predeceased by her close friend Tanya Ellis-Blakley (Nov. 14, 2020). Survived by her uncle Michael, aunt Margaret, cousin Amber (her child Alaska), cousin Bradley (his child Raven), as well as by nieces, nephews and cousins.

Private visitation and a funeral service to remember Alison will be held on Wednesday, July 6th, 2022, in the Maurice J. Verhoeve Funeral Homes Chapel, 262 Broadway, Tillsonburg, by Pastor Ted Smith, of Courtland United Church. Cremation follows. All are invited to offer their support by sharing fond memories, favourite photos, or by contributing memorial donations to the “Canadian Mental Health Association” via Alison’s online tribute page at www.verhoevefuneralhomes.com or by contacting the Maurice J. Verhoeve Funeral Homes- Burial and Cremation Services Inc., Tillsonburg (519)842-4238, which has been entrusted with all funeral arrangements, with confidence.
