Baby Axell Hurley –
It is with deep sorrow, we announce the peaceful passing of our much-loved and precious infant son Axell Hurley, on February 16th, 2022, at the Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital, aged 14 days. Axell is the son of Dawn Patterson and Jonathan Hurley, of Straffordville. During his brief visit on Earth, he enjoyed cuddling with his parents and was inseparable from his twin sister, River Hurley. He was loved by everyone that met him and will be greatly missed. Axell is survived by his adoring older brother Jackson and twin sister River; his grandparents Russell and Barbara Hurley; his aunt Melissa (children Dean Masson Jr., Logan Masson, and their father (Axells special uncle) Dean Masson Sr.); his uncle Travis Hurley; his aunt Mandy Christoph (son Austin). Also survived by several great-aunts, great-uncles, and cousins. Predeceased by his grandparents Ray Patterson (May 13, 2008) and Shirley Patterson (April 16, 2020).
A private family farewell was held on Saturday, February 19th, 2022, followed by cremation. Dawn and Jon’s friends and family are invited to attend a public visitation on Wednesday, February 23rd, 2022, from 6:00 to 8:00 pm in the Maurice J.
