Passed away, suddenly on Monday, December 9th, 2019, at the Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital, with her loving husband Garry by her side, (Bernie) Bernarda Osborne, a resident of McGuire Crescent, Tillsonburg and formerly of Caledon in her 72nd year. Born in Yugoslavia, immigrating together as a family to Canada in 1954 in the hope of a better life. Bernarda was a dedicated, well-respected retired Manager of Corporate Services for the Canadian Border Services Agency (Greater Enforcement Branch)- she was a federal employee for over 43 years. Bernie was a resident of three years in Tillsonburg and formerly of Caledon, Brampton and Toronto. Survived by her loving husband of over thirty years Garry S. Wilson. Also survived by her loving mother Nada (Pulic) Berticevich (late Branko), and by her sister Maria McKelvey of Toronto. Special aunt of Edith Robinson (John), Bobcaygeon; Valerie (Tim Clark), Toronto and a great-niece Meagan (Matt), Bobcaygeon and several other nieces, nephews and cousins. Loved sister-in-law of Pat King (Robert Douglas King), Alberta; Karen Sills (Michael Sills), Perth, Ontario; Jim Wilson (Martha), Brantford; and Ann Wilson (Joe), Waterdown. Always remembered by close friends Verna and Morris Bramley, Tillsonburg and by many good neighbours and friends in Tillsonburg, Caledon, Brampton and Toronto. Bernie was a friend of Christian Alliance Church, Tillsonburg.

Friends, neighbours and relatives will be received by Garry and family on Saturday, December 14th, 2019 from 2:00 to 5:00 pm at the MAURICE J. VERHOEVE FUNERAL HOMES – BURIAL AND CREMATION SERVICES INC., 262 Broadway Street, Tillsonburg (519)842-4238. Celebration of Life Service by Pastor Paul Woodburn of the Tillsonburg Alliance Church will take place on Saturday at 2:30 pm in the Maurice J. Verhoeve Funeral Home Chapel, Tillsonburg. Memorial donations in ‘Bernie’s’ memory to the “Helping Hand Food Bank” can be made through the Maurice J. Verhoeve Funeral Home, Tillsonburg by cheque or online and will be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
