DePaepe, Betty Lou (Anderson) 1943-2019-
It is with heavy hearts that the family of Betty Lou announce her passing at the V.O.N Sakura House, Woodstock, with her loving family by her side, on October 23rd, 2019, in her 76th year. Born October 28th, 1943 in Simcoe, Ontario to her late parents Godfrey and Marion (Green) Anderson. Beloved wife and best friend of Michael DePaepe for 57 years. Married July 28th, 1962. They worked alongside one another for 18 years farming in the Langton area. Michael and Betty moved to the Tillsonburg area in 1990. Betty continued working in Tillsonburg area factories until 2003. Betty was a long-time member of St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church. Betty and Michael provided a great life for each other and their growing family. Loving mother of Annette (Jim), Michael (Jocelyne), Kim (Wes). Cherished grandmother of Jayme (Ali), Jenna (Andy), Michael (Carol-Lynn), Melissa, Brody and Zak. She very much adored her great-grandchildren Mason and Toryn. Betty is survived by her siblings: Gordon, Alex, Bea, Gilbert (Debbie), Sandie (Mike), Keith, Murray (Paul), Dennis (Debbie), Linda (Mike). Predeceased by her sister Diane. Survived by her sisters-in-law and brother-in-law Theresa (Jeff), Janet and Kim. Predeceased by father and mother-in-law Michael and Angela (Poppe) DePaepe.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted with confidence to the Maurice J. Verhoeve Funeral Homes- Burial and Cremation Services Inc., 262 Broadway, Tillsonburg. Friends neighbours and relatives will be received by Michael and family on Friday, October 25th from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. in the Maurice J. Verhoeve Funeral Homes Chapel, Tillsonburg. A Complete Funeral Mass of Christian Burial to Celebrate Betty’s Life and Legacy will be held on Saturday, October 26th at 1:00 p.m. at St. Mary’s R.C. Church, 51 Venison St. W., by Rev. Fr. John Pirt. Parish prayers will be held on Friday evening at 7:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel by Rev. Fr. John Pirt. Private family inurnment in the Tillsonburg Cemetery Columbarium at a later date. Memorial donations to the “L.H.S.C. Cancer Clinic” or “V.O.N. Oxford” (Sakura House) or “St. Mary’s Church- Building Fund” would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
