Bruce Arthur Carl of Clear Creek went to be with his Lord, Friday, February 14th, 2020. Dedicated husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. Bruce is survived by his loving wife and best friend of almost 58 years, Louise (Smith) Carl, daughter Christine Carl (Barry Cope), son Bill Carl (Barb), and son Jeffrey Carl (Jeannette). Devoted Grandpa of Adam Carl (Robyn), Rachel Carl, Brittany Matthews (Cory), Joel Russell, Matt Cronkite, and Tracy Cronkite. Proud “PAPA” of his great-grandchildren: Rozlynn Matthews, Merritt Matthews, Warren Matthews and Rhaina Van Wynsberge. Survived by his two brothers: Jim Carl (Linda), and Norm Carl (Darlene) and nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by much loved son Lester Carl (1988) and parents William and Muriel (Lucas) Carl. Bruce was an avid hunter and outdoorsman. Bruce worked for 40 years for the Ministry of Natural Resources – St. Williams Nursery. He attended the United Church in Cultus.

Funeral Service conducted by Pastor Ted Smith of Cultus United Church will take place on Wednesday at 11:00 am in the MAURICE J. VERHOEVE FUNERAL HOME, Langton, Chapel. Family Inurnment to follow at the Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Walsingham. Memorial donations to the “Heart and Stroke Foundation” or to the “Canadian Diabetes Association” or to the “Cultus United Church” would be appreciated by the Carl family.
