Passed away on Tuesday, August 6th, 2019, at the Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital with his loving wife Ruth and family by his side Carl Daniel Wilkens, a long time resident of Tillsonburg, in his 83rd year. Former Town of Tillsonburg employee until 1984. Former proprietor - White Lightning Trucking, Tillsonburg retiring in 2008. Longtime member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Br. #153, Tillsonburg. Born in St. Thomas, son of the late John Wilkens and former Fern (Ketchabaw) Wilkens. Much loved husband and best friend of thirty-eight years of Ruth (Long) Wilkens. Loved father and father-in-law of: Dan Wilkens (Cyndi) and Mary (Joe Armstrong) all of Tillsonburg. Proud grandfather of two grandsons: Joe and David Armstrong. The family would like to extend sincere appreciation to the Doctors and Nurses and Staff of Tillsonburg Hospital.

In keeping with Carl’s expressed wishes there is neither funeral home visitation nor a funeral service. MAURICE J.
