Obituary for Cindy Darlene Mudge (Horton)
Mudge, Cindy Darlene (Horton) (March 31, 1972 – December 12, 2022) -
It is with sadness that we, the family of Cindy Darlene (Horton) Mudge, wish to announce her peaceful passing, after a struggle with illness, on Monday, December 12th, 2022, at the Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital, at the age of 50. Born in Tillsonburg, Cindy will be remembered as a kind and community-oriented person, as a frequent volunteer with the Encore Club and Salvation Army, in Kirkland Lake, and for her regular volunteering with other senior-benefiting causes. Cindy is predeceased by her husband, Robbie Mudge (2018). Survived by her father, William Horton and predeceased by her mother Darlene (Brandon) Horton (2008). Survived by her brother Bill Horton (Donna Otis), of Port Burwell, as well as by her brother and caregiver, Mike Horton (Lesley Mabee), of Port Burwell. Also survived by her nieces and nephews: Patryce Bowerman, Ashley Mansley, Jennifer Horton (Andy Chepil), Jonathan Horton (Shannon Fraser). Predeceased by her nephew, Joshua Clark.
In keeping with Cindy’s expressed wishes, cremation has taken place. Everyone who knew Cindy is invited to attend a Celebration of her life at the Port Burwell Legion (40 Wellington Street, Port Burwell) on Monday, December 19th, 2022, beginning at 2:30 p.m. All are invited to share favourite memories or contribute memorial donations to the “Canadian Diabetes Association” or to the “Heart and Stroke Foundation” via Cindy’s online tribute page at www.verhoevefuneralhomes.com or by contacting the Maurice J.
