Obituary for Cuma Georgina Brinn (MacDonald)

BRINN, Cuma Georgina (October 1, 1929 – March 18, 2022)

Passed away, peacefully at Maple Manor, Tillsonburg with her loving son Don and his wife Sharon at her side, on Friday, March 18th, 2022, Cuma Georgina (MacDonald) Brinn formerly of Kinglake, after a full and satisfying life, at the age of 92. Cuma was a Life Member of the Areme Chapter, Order of the Eastern Star #15, Vienna, Life Member of the Guysborough, Orange Lodge and a longtime member of Avondale United Church, Tillsonburg.

Born in Chesley, Ontario. Daughter of the late Gordon MacDonald and the late former Annie (Hatton) MacDonald. Predeceased by her loving husband of 50 years Donald Brinn (1998). Survived by her loved son Don and his wife Sharon Brinn of Tillsonburg and their children Don (Erin), Waterloo and Debbie (John Cservid) and their children Audrey and Ian, Tillsonburg. Predeceased by a son Douglas Kenneth Brinn (February 2013) who is survived by a son Raymond (Kristi) Brinn and their daughter: Faith, St. Thomas. Also survived by a daughter Kathy (Dan Andries), Courtland and their children: a daughter Kim (Dave Jeromin) their child is Danielle, Tillsonburg, Brian (Val) Andries and his sons: Colby and Connor, and the step-great grandchildren: Braden and Jade. Survived by a brother Lloyd (the late Shirley) MacDonald, Corunna; a sister Mary (Jim) MacPherson, Stratford ad several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Predeceased by two brothers: Ross (2002) and Jim (2012). Cuma is survived by a dear friend Ted Eagleton and family.

Public visitation will take place on Thursday, March 24th, 2022, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am in the Maurice J. Verhoeve Funeral Homes - Burial and Cremation Services Inc., Chapel, 262 Broadway Street, Tillsonburg (519) 842-4238. Complete Funeral Service to Celebrate Cuma’s Life to be conducted by Rev. Ted Smith, of Courtland United Church on Thursday, March 24th, 2022, at 11:00 am in the Maurice J. Verhoeve Funeral Home Chapel, Tillsonburg. Private Family Inurnment in the Brinn family plot, St. Luke’s Cemetery, Vienna.
