Passed away, suddenly but peacefully, at his late residence on December 29th, 2019, David Clarence Pake, a resident of London and formerly of Wycombe, at the age of 58. Born in Tillsonburg, David was a devoted father, he would take Suzanne and Michael with him on trips around the Unites States while driving truck; together they also created fond memories searching for morel mushrooms around their property in Wycombe. David was an animal lover, enjoying his time caring dogs, cats and chickens. A talented woodworker, he enjoyed working with his hands and he could create items with great detail, such as in his creation of a doll cradle, train, tricycle and weathervane. Survived by Louisa (Moerman) Pake, mother of their loving children Suzanne Pake (Adam MacLennan), of Woodstock and Michael Pake, of Courtland. Survived by a brother Douglas Pake and his family, a sister Donna McConkey (Ken) and their children Jason, Adam (Heather), and Christopher. Predeceased by his brother Donald Pake (2002) and survived by his children Mark, Robbie, Jody; by his wife Tina and their children Amanda, Tyelar (Shelby), Dylen, Brady, and late daughter Chelsea (1996). Also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Complete Funeral Service of Remembrance was conducted on Saturday, January 4th, 2020 at 11:00 am in the MAURICE J. VERHOEVE FUNERAL HOMES – BURIAL AND CREMATION SERVICES INC. Chapel, 262 Broadway St., Tillsonburg by Pastor John Friesen of New Hope Baptist Church, Tillsonburg. Cremation follows with later inurnment in the Evergreen Cemetery, Lynedoch on January 8th, 2020 at 2:00 pm. Memorial donations payable by cheque or online to the “Mission Services of London” would be gratefully acknowledged by the Pake family.
