Obituary for Dawn Patricia Humphrey

Passed away, peacefully, on February 1st, 2020 at Stratford General Hospital, Dawn Patricia Humphrey, of Exeter, in her 56th year. Born in Windsor, Ontario, Dawn is survived by her father William H. Humphrey, of Brownsville and predeceased by her mother Barbara L. Humphrey (Feb. 4, 2011). Dawn was a past member of the Ingersoll United Church. Dawn leaves behind her beloved son Greg R. Fawcett (Deb) and her two special grandchildren Lucas and Leah, all of Lucan. Survived by siblings: Shawn (Cherry) Humphrey, of Oshawa; Steven Humphrey, of London; Michael (Carol) Upham, of Sault Ste. Marie; Louis (Donna) Upham, of Windsor; Arthur (Sandy) Upham, of Ottawa; Harry (Maureen) Upham, of Windsor; Patricia Hexter, of Alberta; and Bert (Sharon) Upham, of Bracebridge. Predeceased by siblings: Daniel Upham, Kathleen Upham, Maureen Upham, Brian Upham, Dennis Upham, Colleen Renaud, Philip Upham, Sharon Upham, Larry Upham, Leslie Upham and Arthur (Jr.) Upham.

In keeping with Dawn’s expressed wishes, cremation has taken place. A Graveside Service to Celebrate Dawn's Life will take place in the Delmer Cemetery (312242 Dereham Line, Delmer) on Friday, July 10th at 11:00 a.m. by Rev. Maurice Francis, of St. Pauls United Church, Tillsonburg. All arrangements have been entrusted, with confidence, to the Maurice J. Verhoeve Funeral Homes- Burial and Cremation Services Inc., 262 Broadway Street, Tillsonburg (519-842-4238). In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the “Ronald McDonald House Charities” or to “The Hospital for Sick Children Foundation” would be gratefully acknowledged by the family and may be made through the funeral home.
