Obituary for Donald E. King "Sparky"
KING, Donald E. “Sparky” (December 24, 1940 – October 23, 2021) –
It is with great sadness, we the family announce the peaceful passing of our caring husband, father, grandfather, and friend to many, Donald Edwin King “Sparky”, on October 23, 2021, at the Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital, at the age of 80. Donald will be remembered by many for his time as a dedicated employee of KTS Trucking Company, Waterford, where he was affectionately known as “Sparky”. He is survived by his much-loved spouse of 18 years, Robyn Oosting, of RR6 Tillsonburg. Lovingly remembered by his caring stepson James (Danielle) Oosting and their children Kayla, Kyle, Brooklyn. Donald is survived by several family members and good friends. Predeceased by his first wife, Diane J. (Wadsworth) King (1987) and by his son Shane King.
In keeping with Donald’s expressed wishes, a private family graveside service to celebrate his life will take place on Tuesday, October 26th, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. in Oakwood Cemetery, 35 Potts Rd., Simcoe.
