Passed away, peacefully surrounded by her family on Tuesday, July 28, 2020. She had just passed her 63rd birthday. Loving wife and best friend of 43 years to Richard Vank, loving mother to Natasha (Greg) Wernham, of Tillsonburg and Chantale (Ben) Leclair, of Otterville. Loving grandmother to Chloe, Jeremy, Jaden, Andrew, Dakota, Gavin, and Dallas. Dear sister of: Terry, of Panama; Diane Davison, of Port Dover and David (Sheree) Thompson, of Port Dover. Donna was predeceased by her parents Donovan Thompson (1972) and Lola Thompson (2015). Donna is also survived by her many nieces and nephews, aunts, and cousins. Donna was a co-owner along with her husband Richard of Grate Restoration Stoveworks & Country Collectibles, since 1998. She also ran an online business Vintique Flair. Donna and her husband Richard were also previous owners of Courtland Antique Warehouse and Fashion Accessories Unlimited. Donna enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, travelling, camping, thrifting, and antiques.

Guests are encouraged to attend only when their time slot begins, if guests arrive too early, they are asked to wait in their vehicle. If guests arrive too late, they may be unable to enter. Chapel, 262 Broadway Street, Tillsonburg, with four time slots available: 2:00 to 3:00 pm, 3:15 to 4:00 pm, 7:00 to 8:00 pm and 8:15 to 9:00 pm. A Private Funeral Service to Celebrate Donna’s Life and Legacy will take place on Saturday, August 1, 2020 at the Tillsonburg Cemetery, by Pastor George Schmidt, of Koinonia Church, Bloomingdale, ON. Memorial donations to the “Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada” (for mechanical heart valve research), would be appreciated by the family and can be made through the Maurice J.
