Obituary for Doreen Margerite Casier (Vanacker)

Always remembered, always loved. Doreen M. (Vanacker) Casier, of RR1 Delhi, passed away suddenly, surrounded by her loving husband Maurice and family members on Monday, March 1st, 2021, at the Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital, after a courageous struggle with illness, in her 75th year. Doreen was a wonderful wife and mother, who showed a great deal of care and concern for her family. She was a dedicated production worker, employed for over 33 years with Johnson Controls, Tillsonburg. Doreen loved her flowers and maintained vibrant flower beds around her home each year.

Beloved wife of 55 years of Maurice G. Casier. Much loved mother and grandmother to Maurice Casier Jr., of Tillsonburg and grandmother to Brook; Kimberly-Ann Casier, of RR1 Delhi and grandmother to Ryan (Alyssa) and Alexandra (Tyler). Survived by her siblings: June Skevington, of Tillsonburg; Odell Vermeersch, of Tillsonburg; sister-in-law Cheryl Vanacker, of Tillsonburg and sister-in-law Donna Vanacker, of Port Burwell. Predeceased by her sister Louise Wilson and by three brothers Doug Ryder, Jim Vanacker and Albert Vanacker. Also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

“The family will soon proudly welcome Doreen’s great-grandchild into the world to parents Alexandra and Tyler. Making Doreen a shining, smiling and proud belated great-grandmother.”
