Dorothy will be missed for her laughter she provided when she was a clown 🤡 and her generous kind heart. Always going the extra mile for everyone. Trying to help and extend an extra hand wherever she could. I worked with Dorothy for years and we kept in touched after she retired seeing each other not often but when we did she always had great stories to share about her trips and family especially her grand babies. I know heaven has received one special Angel. Thinking of you Becky and your family during this difficult time. ❤️Keelee

My sympathy to you, Harry and Rebecca and your families. It was many years ago that I met your mom when Harry entered my classroom at Rolph St. School in Tillsonburg. A few years later Rebecca was also a student in my classroom. I always enjoyed my chats with her about each of you as you progressed through the year. When your mom was free she was eager to volunteer to help for special days such as a Hotdog day lunch. Both of you and your family will miss your mom greatly. She was a kind caring person and I'm confident as grandchildren entered her life she was as proud of them as she was of each of you as you journeyed through your school years. Remember all the special times you had with your mom. Memories will be very special to you now as you live your life without mom and grandma. My thoughts and prayers are with each of you and your families as you journey through this very difficult time in your lives. she will be missed by all!

Dorothy was truly one of a kind. I don't think I have ever met a more good natured, sweet, caring, generous and funny person than her. I feel truly blessed to have had Dorothy be a part of my life and my children's lives and we will miss her terribly. It was impossible to be in a bad mood around Dorothy, she lit up the room with her smile, her stories and her humour. I have never seen Dorothy upset or angry, she took life as it came and lived it to the fullest. Dorothy showed us that it's better to choose laughter over sorrow, kindness over cruelty and friendship over loneliness; to dance like no one is watching (or better yet, let them watch and dance on anyways) and to always be you. It was always more fun when Dorothy was there.
