Obituary for Elza Erma "Elsie" Bolle (Coppens)

It is with great sadness the Bolle family wishes to announce the passing of their beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother Elza ‘Elsie’ (Coppens) Bolle, of Tillsonburg and formerly of Langton, on December 12th, 2019 at the Delhi Long Term Care Centre, in her 94th year. Elza is reunited in heaven with her late beloved husband of 69 years, Michael Joseph Bolle Sr. (May 8, 2017). Born in Ruysselede, West Flanders, Belgium, daughter of the late Maurice Coppens and Maria (Elbode) Bolle. Elza and Mike raised their six children while growing tobacco on their farms just west of Deer Creek Dam (off Hwy. 45). They built a retirement home on the farm in the late 1970`s, where they resided until 2014, and then moved to Tillsonburg. Elza was a proud longtime member of Sacred Heart R.C. Church, Langton and a past member of the Langton C.W.L. Elza loved to travel with Mike and enjoyed life on the farm spending time with her beloved children: Jerry Bolle (Teresa), MaryAnne (Marius Van Besien), Mike Bolle (Barb), Albert Bolle (Brigitte), Bob Bolle (Patsy), and Sharon Bolle (Rick). Loving grandmother of Michelle, Karen (Cale), Cathy (Dan), Patricia (Joey), Alicia (Justin), Jessica, Chrissy, Amanda, Garrett, and Corrin (Derek). Loving great-grandmother of Brandon, Tyler, Lauren, Brittney, Bailee, Brooke, Kyra, Austin, Ashton, Nevaeh, Lyric, Hadley, Dominic, Curtis and Camden. Also survived by her brother and sister-in-law Robert and Georgette Coppens. Predeceased by her sister Agnes (Coppens) Deroo (2008) and brother-in-law Andrew Deroo (2013).

Friends, relatives and neighbours are invited to attend a period of visitation on Tuesday, December 17th, 2019 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. in the Maurice J. Verhoeve Funeral Homes Chapel, Langton. Parish Prayers are Tuesday afternoon at 4:00 p.m. A Complete Funeral Mass of Christian Burial to Celebrate Elza’s Life will be held on Wednesday, December 18th, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. in the Sacred Heart R.C. Church, Langton by Rev. Fr. Thomas Kuriacko. Interment later in the Sacred Heart Cemetery. Memorial donations to “Camp Trillium (Rainbow Lake)” would be gratefully acknowledged by the family and can be made through the Maurice J. Verhoeve Funeral Homes- Burial and Cremation Services Inc., 40 Queen Street, Langton (519-842-4238), which has been entrusted with all funeral arrangements.
