Obituary for "Irene" Eren Toth
Toth, Eren ‘’Irene’’ (June 14, 1932 – July 12, 2022) -
Peacefully, after a struggle with illness at Maple Manor L.T.C., Tillsonburg, (‘’Irene’’) Eren Toth, formerly of 31 Maple Lane, Tillsonburg and Delhi, in her 91st year. Born in Estevan, Saskatchewan daughter of the late Miclos Nyilas and the late Sofia (Nagy) Nyilas. Irene was formerly a bookkeeper and a tobacco sharegrower with her husband Alex in the Delhi area. She was a member of Calvin Presbyterian Church, Delhi. Long-time resident of Maple Lane Seniors apartment building and Treasurer of the Leisure Club, she was an active member in many of the events and affairs of the building. She enjoyed bingo, gardening and spending time with friends and family. Predeceased by her beloved husband (‘’Alex’’) Alexander Toth (July 30, 2003). Much-loved mother of Patti Webb, Tillsonburg (late husband Fred Webb (2021)) and predeceased by her daughter Deb Macaulay (survived by son-in-law John). Proud and loving grandmother of Ryan, Devin, Caitlyn, Kristen. Survived by two brothers: Nick Nyilas (Irene), Tillsonburg and Alex Nyilas (Tillie), Peterborough. Also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
At a later date, a private family gathering, and interment will take place at the Tillsonburg Cemetery Columbarium’s.
