Obituary for Frank Angelino Borg
With deep sorrow, we announce the death of Frank Angelino Borg following a short battle with cancer, on May 30th, 2020 at the V.O.N. Sakura House, Woodstock, in his 81st year. Born in Malta on May 6th, 1940, he was the beloved son of the deceased John and Giovanna nee Skye. He will be sorely missed by Monica, his beloved wife of 50 years, his children Chantal (John Giguere), Jasson, Dara, his predeceased eldest son John and grandson Yohann and survived by his stepsons Martin (Laura) and Robert. Lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Dennis (Joannie), Andrew, Patrick, Jennifer (Charles) Emanuel, William, Beatrice, Lucas and by his great-grandchildren. Survived by his brothers Al (Gabriele), Tom (Sandy), his sister Betty (John), his brother-in-law John (Josephine), his sister-in-law Annie (Joseph) and by many nephews and nieces.
Frank was so well loved, admired, and sought after, especially at the Hickory Hills community where he and Monica lived for almost 10 years, and where he was known as an avid golfer, doting husband, and handyman par excellence. A very warm thank you to all the doctors, nurses, and staff of Sakura House in Woodstock for all their dedicated care and patience.
A Celebration of Franks Life will take place at a later date with details to follow. In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate donations to “VON Oxford” (for Sakura House), which may be made through the Maurice J. Verhoeve Funeral Homes – Burial and Cremation Services Inc., 262 Broadway Street, Tillsonburg (519-842-4238), entrusted with all arrangements.
