Obituary for Frank "John" "JP" Pearlman

Frank “John” “JP” Pearlman (December 22, 1941 – October 22, 2023)

Passed away, peacefully, on October 22nd, 2023, at Norfolk General Hospital, Simcoe, Frank John Pearlman, a resident of Norview Lodge and formerly of Queen St., Langton, at the age of 81. John, also known to many as JP, was born in Simcoe and raised by his adoptive parents, the late Pete and Jessie (Nigro) Pearlman. Over John’s working years, he farmed tobacco for Charlie Moore, he worked at Reforestry Farm for many years, he also worked on the pipelines, he worked as a welder at Badger’s, but the job he enjoyed most was when he worked at the Turkey Point Marina. His greatest loves, were his friends camping, fishing and music. He enjoyed playing guitar at local community halls, during the country jamborees. Survived by five children Deborah (Jerry Rohrer), of Simcoe; Rob Pearlman, of Delhi; Terry (Wendy) Pearlman, of Barrie; Kevin Pearlman, of Elliot Lake’ and Linda Burke (Jeremy Schott), of Simcoe. Survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Also survived by his siblings Roy (Nancy) Propper, of Kirkland Lake and by Doreen Bendek (late Bill), of Port Rowan. Lovingly remembered by his partner and best friend Barb Tostik, of Simcoe. Predeceased by his biological parents Orville and Margret Propper.

In keeping with Johns expressed wishes, cremation has taken place. There will be no formal funeral nor a visitation. A Celebration of Life will be held later.
