CATTLE, G. (Jamie) James (February 15, 1973 – May 1, 2022) –
It is with sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our son, grandson, brother, uncle, nephew and friend, G. (Jamie) Cattle, of Brownsville, at the Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital, on May 1st, 2022, surrounded by his loving family, at the age of 49. Jamie is survived by his caring parents Sandy and George Cattle, of Brownsville, as well as by his grandparents Bill and Isabelle Cattle. Also survived by his sister Shannon (Michael Collins), of Tillsonburg, nephews Tyler Sheedy and Ethan Collins, as well as by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. Predeceased by his grandmother Patricia (nee Swift) (Karn) Alden (2020), grandfather Arnold Alden (1986), step-grandfather Dr. Willard J. Karn (2009). Many will remember Jamie for his love for hockey, enjoyment of motocross and motorcycle racing, and he could be accurately described as an avid outdoorsman. Jamie enjoyed being self-employed for much of his life, between transport truck driving and as a partner with Natures Choice Landscaping.
Friends, relatives, and neighbours are invited to attend a public funeral service to celebrate Jamie’s Life on Thursday, May 5th, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. in the Maurice J. Verhoeve Funeral Homes Chapel, 262 Broadway, Tillsonburg, by Cheryl Buchner. Public visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 4th, from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and on Thursday morning from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. (service time) in the Verhoeve Funeral Home Chapel, Tillsonburg. Interment follows in the Delmer Cemetery. All are invited to attend a reception to be held immediately following the interment at the Royal Canadian Legion, 16 Durham Street, Tillsonburg.
