Obituary for Gaby Joseph DeDobbelaer
DeDobbelaer, Gaby (February 7, 1932 – September 26, 2022)-
Our family sadly announces the passing of our loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend Gaby Joseph DeDobbelaer.
He leaves behind his loving wife of 67 years Violet (nee Denys). Dear father of the late Kevin (1980) and Gina Bes. Proud grandfather of Dane Bes (Lindsay Mckenzie) and Sasha Bes. Loving brother of Denise Crevits (Charlie 1987). Brother-in-law to the late Wilfred (2021) and Yvonne Denys. Brother-in-law to the late Paul (2022) and Jennie (2012) Quenneville. Predeceased by his parents Frank (1992) and Madeleine (1994) (Matthynssens) DeDobbelaer. Survived by several nephews, nieces and cousins.
Thanks and love to two special gentlemen, Rick Rusnak and Dan Van Den Eeckhout who visited Gaby and Violet for 42 years after the death of Kevin; your friendship will always be remembered and cherished. Special thanks to the extended family and friends who visited, laughed and shared joy over the years.

Cremation has taken place. Everyone is welcomed to attend a public Celebration of Gaby’s Life on Tuesday, October 4th, 2022, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. in the Oxford Hills Golf Course, 324183 Mt. Elgin Rd., Mount Elgin.
