Obituary for Grace (Gibson) Fisher
FISHER, Grace Patricia (nee Gibson) (December 26, 1941 – April 11, 2023)
It is with sadness that we the family announce the peaceful passing of our much-loved wife, mother, sister, aunt, and friend, Grace Patricia (nee Gibson) Fisher, at her late Eden residence, on April 11th, 2023. Grace was born in Cultus, to her parents Lloyd Gibson and Ethel (Cunningham) Gibson. Grace is survived by her much loved husband of 38 years, Ed Fisher, of Eden. “There was never a greater love in Grace’s heart than for Eddie. She was always full of joy and love whenever her children gathered around.” Grace is lovingly remembered by her children: Rick (Christi) Graves, of Kewanee, Illinois, USA; Darlene Graves, of Eden; Gary Johnson, of Port Rowan. Survived by her sister Shirley Underhill, of Tillsonburg; brother-in-law Vic (Dora) Fisher, of Frogmore, as well as by several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Predeceased by her siblings George, Frank, Lloyd Jr., Dorothy, Bernadine, Carl, and Beverly.
Friends, neighbours, and relatives are invited to attend public visitation on Monday, April 17th, between 11:00 a.m. and 12:00 noon (service time) in the Maurice J. Verhoeve Funeral Homes- Burial and Cremation Services Inc. Chapel, 262 Broadway, Tillsonburg. A Funeral Service to Celebrate Grace’s Life will be held on Monday, April 17th, at 12:00 noon in the funeral home chapel, by Elder Vic Fisher, of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, Tillsonburg. Burial follows in Bethel Cemetery.
