Mom was the kindest, most loving mom we could have ever asked for.

Our hearts break that we’ll never again be able to hug her, tell her we love her or have a good laugh together.

We are so lucky to have many good memories of mom and spending many happy moments together. Brad would always say when all 3 of us were together, he was with his 2 favourite girls.

We loved mom very much and will always have her in our hearts and cherish our memories

Our Mom was so much more than a wife and mother. Mom was a passionate force of nature that let nothing stop her - not the four bouts of cancer she battled, not even a punctured lung suffered in a fall. Everyone who knew her felt her passion and strength, and the incredible joy she shared in her business.

For more than 20 years, she owned Dolls in Toyland in Tillsonburg. The beloved store and museum closed several years ago, but doll collectors from around the world knew and respected Mom. They came to her for advice, education and support in their love of dolls.

But Mom didn't just "sell" dolls - she helped create memories. She would go out of her way to find special items for people, and there have been many happy smiles on Christmas morning thanks to her efforts to find just the right doll or toy. It is a comfort now to read the many notes customers sent to thank her for making a special occasion even more special with her gift of helping people choose just the right doll.

Mom was taken by one of the most cruel of diseases - Alzheimer's, but until close to the very end, she still knew her girls, and took great joy and comfort in being with us.

The world is a sadder place without Inez Kunkel, but we know the angels are rejoicing in her presence.
