It is with great sadness that we are announcing the sudden passing of our Father, James Alexander Sergeant of London, Ontario, on Friday, April 30th, 2021 in his 69th year. He is survived by his loving wife Joanne and son Michael and daughter Shevaughn. And he will be truly missed by all, especially his only grandchild Sarah. Also survived by his brothers Gerry and Bill Sergeant. Predeceased by his parents Betty and James Sergeant Sr., and younger brother Brad Sergeant. He was an avid fan of hockey and golf whenever he could play, even in 0 degree weather in shorts, as all his golfing buddies at Highland Golf and Country Club, could attest to.

Cremation has taken place. All who knew James are invited to offer their support by posting photos, contributing donations in memoriam, and sharing heartfelt memories on James’ tribute page at www.verhoevefuneralhomes.com. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the “Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario” can be arranged on James’ online tribute page.
