Obituary for Janice Gail Yallop (Sinden)

Passed away, surrounded by the love of her family after a courageous struggle with illness, at the Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital, on February 19th, 2020, Janice Gail (Sinden) Yallop, of Tillsonburg in her 65th year. Janice was born in Simcoe, Ontario to the late Russell Sinden and late former Lea Jacques. Forever a passionate fan of the Toronto Blue Jays, Janice will be fondly remembered by many for her 27 years of Service with the Town of Tillsonburg, primarily at the Tillsonburg Community Centre, a position which she retired from in 2011. Janice was a member of the Sacred Heart R.C. Church, Langton.

Janice leaves behind her two special sons Mark (Amy) Yallop, of Tillsonburg and Steven Yallop (Jill), of Tillsonburg. Special and much-loved grandmother to her grandchildren: Evan, Addyson, Leah and Austin. Janice is survived by her six siblings: Jeanette (Bob) Kershaw, Gary Sinden, Randy (Wendy) Sinden, Dave (Jane) Sinden, Daryl (Sandy) Sinden, Wayne (Rose) Sinden and by several nieces, nephews and cousins.

In keeping with Janice’s expressed wishes, cremation has taken place. Friends, relatives and neighbours are invited to attend a Celebration of Janice’s Life in the Maurice J. Verhoeve Funeral Homes- Burial and Cremation Services Inc. Chapel, Tillsonburg, on Sunday, February 23rd, 2020 from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Words of Remembrance will be shared at 4:00 p.m. Spring inurnment in the Sacred Heart R.C. Cemetery, Langton. Memorial donations to the “Victoria's Quilts Canada” would be gratefully acknowledged by the family and can be made through the Maurice J. Verhoeve Funeral Homes, Tillsonburg, which has been entrusted with all arrangements.
