Obituary for Jeffrey Keith "Jeff" Fearns

It is with great sadness, we the Fearns family share the passing of our special son, brother, grandson, uncle and friend, Jeffrey “Jeff” Keith Fearns, at the Hamilton General Hospital, at the young age of 29. Born in Dunnville, Ontario to his caring parents Murray and Tracie (Huber) Fearns, of Langton. Lovingly remembered by his siblings Lee (Katie), of Brantford and Matt, of Langton and by his grandparents Larry (Sandra) Huber. Special uncle to his nieces Alice and Louisa. Predeceased by grandparents Frank (Alice) Fearns. Jeffrey will be remembered by his family and friends for his sense of humor, the half-grin look that he gave and for his quirky smile. He also enjoyed automobile detailing in his spare time.

Friends, neighbours and relatives are invited to offer their support by posting photos, making donations in memoriam, and sharing heartfelt memories on Jeff’s tribute page at www.verhoevefuneralhomes.com. Cremation has taken place. A public time of remembrance will be held on Saturday, March 27th, 2021 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. (by RSVP only) in the Maurice J. Verhoeve Funeral Homes – Burial and Cremation Services Inc. Chapel, 40 Queen Street, Langton (519-842-4238). Guests are welcomed to wear non-formal attire, in respect for Jeff’s relaxed personality. All attendees must bring and wear a face covering and always maintain social distancing guidelines. Memorial donations to the “Canadian Mental Health Association,” or to the “Canadian Red Cross,” and the ability to RSVP for public visitation time slots can be arranged on Jeff’s online tribute page at www.verhoevefuneralhomes.com. Arrangements have been entrusted, with confidence, to the Maurice J. Verhoeve Funeral Homes, Langton.

“Thank you to Jodie K., with Hamilton General Hospital, and to Detective Deto Filice for their care for Jeffrey and our family during this difficult time. Special thanks to Terratec Environmental for their compassion and understanding.”
