Obituary for John William Bellas

BELLAS, John William (September 1, 1951 – January 11, 2022)

Passed away, peacefully surrounded by the love of his family on Tuesday January 11, 2022, at the L.H.S.C. - University Hospital, London, John William Bellas, a resident of Port Rowan, in his 71st year. Predeceased by his parents William and Rachel Bellas. John was a dedicated employee, Tool and Grind Dept. at TRW Tillsonburg from its inception of the TRW Plant in Tillsonburg in 1980 until his retirement in 2017 after 37 satisfying working years. John was much loved and respected by his wife and children. Amongst John’s favourite things was making very practical items for his family through his loved hobby of woodworking. Almost everyone has a piece to remember him by. Overall, John led a quiet, simple but very satisfying life throughout.

John is the much loved husband of 50 years of Rosemary (Demaiter) Bellas. Loved father of: Paul Bellas (Michele), and their children: William and Kayla; Douglas Bellas ; and Carrie Bellas (Jason) and their children: Taylor (Kyle) and their son Owen; Joshua, Haley and Payton. Survived by two loving sisters: Frances Millen (Late Ken) and Wanda Demaiter (Frank). Also survived by in-laws Jeanette Webb (Ross), Janet Demaiter (Late Andy). John is predeceased by his father-in-law Julien and mother-in-law Elisa Demaiter and his in-laws Maurice Demaiter; Agnes Vandenameele (Late Ron) and the late Mary Ragany (Late John).

Private family viewing and visitation occurred prior to cremation at the Maurice J. Verhoeve Funeral Homes, Chapel, Langton.
