Obituary for Jonathan Chambers

Chambers, Jonathan Wm. (Dec 31, 1994 – May 21, 2021) –

With immense sadness, we the family announce the sudden and unexpected passing of our much-loved son, brother, grandson, uncle and friend, Jonathan Wm. Chambers, of Tillsonburg, on Friday, May 21st, 2021, at the age of 26. Jonathan will be remembered by his friends and family for his artistic flair. He was the happiest when he was sketching and writing. Jonathan also enjoyed skateboarding and hunting with his friends and family. Jonathan is lovingly remembered by his father Bill Chambers and stepmother Cindy Haefling, of Novar, ON; predeceased by his mother Sue Phillips (September 7, 2020), survived by his caring stepfather Doug McKillen, of RR2 Tillsonburg. Greatly missed by his grandfather Roland Phillips Sr., of Ingersoll, grandmother Darlene Chambers, of St. Thomas, and by his sisters Courtney Chambers, Nicole Chambers, Janet (Dan) Caldwell, and stepsister Blair McKillen. Also mourned by his aunts and uncles Sandra Phillips (Reinhard Psotka), Denise (Scott) Quick, John (Shayne) Chambers, Margaret (Mike) Jonckheere. Special uncle to MacKenzie, Alex, Aden, and forever missed by his cousins. Predeceased by his brother Derek Chambers (March 4, 2008) and uncle Roland Phillips (June 14, 2020).

A private family funeral service to Celebrate Jonathan’s Life will be held on Friday, May 28th, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. in the Maurice J. Verhoeve Funeral Homes – Burial and Cremation Services Inc. Chapel, Langton, by Rev. Allan Wilson, of Langton Baptist Church. Private interment will follow in the Langton Baptist Cemetery, Langton. Due to covid-related attendance restrictions, visitation will be held on Friday, May 28th, 2021 by RSVP only, between 12:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. Please contact Courtney at 519-550-0659 to reserve a time slot. All visitors are asked to remain in their vehicles until their time slot begins, if you are late, you may be unable to enter. All guests are required to wear a face covering and practice social distancing at all times.
