Obituary for Kathy Gould
It is with great sadness that we the family share the passing of our much loved mother, daughter, sister and friend to many, Kathy Gould, of Norwich, after a courageous struggle with illness, on April 2nd, 2022, at the Woodstock General Hospital, in her 58th year. Kathy was born in Tillsonburg, to her father Frank Gould, of Delhi and late mother Wanda Marie (nee Woods) Gould (December 8, 2006). Many will remember Kathy for her laugh, her sense of humour, her love of animals and nature, her beautiful singing voice and her love for her daughter Franki. She spent many hours working outside and on projects with her father.
Lovingly remembered by her daughter Franki Jo Marie Heinrichs (Devon), of Delhi; sister Tammy Gould, of Otterville; sister Lorrie (George Priddle), of Port Hope; sister and dedicated caregiver Susan (Sue) Decoopman, of Norwich; as well as by her nephew Brad Matejcek and his wife Cat and their children. In keeping with Kathy’s expressed wishes, cremation has taken place. Friends, neighbours, and relatives are invited to attend a public memorial service to celebrate Kathy’s life on Friday, April 8th, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. in the Maurice J. Verhoeve Funeral Homes Chapel, 262 Broadway, Tillsonburg, officiated by Rev. Cheryl Tuck, of Hope Memorial Spiritual Church, Brantford. Public visitation will be held on Friday from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. (service time), in the funeral home chapel. Later interment will be held in the Courtland United Church Cemetery. All are invited to attend a reception immediately following the memorial service, on Friday, April 8th, beginning at approximately 2:00 p.m. in Courtland Community Centre, (272 Main Street of Courtland).
