Obituary for Lesley Jennifer Hogg

Passed away, suddenly but peacefully, on Saturday, April 17, 2021 at her Woodstock home at the age of 40. Lesley grew up in Tillsonburg, and passionately pursued a hairstyling career in Windsor and Tillsonburg for a number of years. Lesley always had an artistic flair in all that she did, including drawing and hairstyling. She was dedicated to fashion, and had an outfit for any, and all, occasions. She had a playful sense of humour, loved to laugh, and she could be silly at times, as the situation permitted. Lesley was a determined person who searched for connections, and inspired inquest in all that knew her. She would be someone who fought for what she believed in. For her son Daniel, she thought the world of him, and wanted him to have a good life full of love and accomplishment. Lesley was a loving partner and fiance of James McElhone. Loving daughter of Marcia (Kunderman) Fletcher and Doug, of Mount Brydges and her father James (Jim) Hogg and Debra, of Delhi. Loving sister of Tanya (Dave Tennent) and Samantha Hogg (Victor Roy) and survived by aunts, uncles, and cousins. Also survived by a much-loved grandfather George Kunderman, of Tillsonburg. Predeceased by a loved grandmother Marcella Kunderman and by her other loved grandparents Don and Anna Hogg.

Friends, neighbours, and relatives are invited to offer their support by posting photos, contributing donations in memoriam, and by sharing special memories on Lesley’s tribute page at www.verhoevefuneralhomes.com. Due to covid-related attendance restrictions, a private Memorial Service will be conducted in the family plot in the Tillsonburg Cemetery at a later date. Memorial donations in Lesley’s memory can be made to the “Canadian Diabetes Association” through Lesley’s tribute page at www.verhoevefuneralhomes.com or through the Maurice J. Verhoeve Funeral Homes – Burial and Cremation Services Inc., 262 Broadway, Tillsonburg (519-842-4238), which has been entrusted with all funeral arrangements, with confidence.
