Celebration of Life Announcement and Invitation:

All of Linda’s friends, neighbours and relatives are invited to attend a Celebration of her Life, on Sunday, September 25th, 2022, at the Courtland Community Centre (272 Main Street of Courtland) from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm. All attendees are invited to stay for an open house and light reception. GOHM, Linda Dorothy Ruth (nee Trickett) (February 11, 1949 – July 10, 2022) –

Passed away, peacefully, after a courageous struggle with illness, with her family by her side on Sunday, July 10th, 2022, Linda Dorothy Ruth (Trickett) Gohm, a longtime resident of Courtland, in her 74th year. Linda will be remembered as a dedicated employee and Manager of the Courtland Drive-In, the Simcoe Strand, the Tillsonburg Strand, and the 5 Drive In, Oakville. She also served as a dedicated employee at TDACL- Group Homes Home Care and Courtland Trackless Vehicles (over 24 years). Linda served her community as a volunteer with the Courtland Lions Club and the TDMH Volunteer Association (and Auxiliary). Linda loved her family, and it always was her first priority.

Much loved wife of (Mel) Melville E. Gohm, of Main Street, Courtland. Much loved mother of Rick (Sandra) Gohm, of Courtland and their children: Kyle (Sky) and Kelvin (Paige); John Gohm, of Courtlea, RR3 Delhi, and his children Josh (Alex), Tyler (Ren), Autumn (Dalton) Wall, great-granddaughter Juniper Mae; extended family Robert (Kim) Howson, of Delhi and their children Ashley (Jeff) Wulleman and their children: Avalee and Charlie; and Brandi Smith (Randy) and her children: Abby and Cole. Survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Survived by sister in laws Barbara Trickett of Ingersoll and Carol Trickett of London. Predeceased by her parents: Elmer and Gladys (Pickard) Trickett and her siblings: Wray and sister in law Betty ; Bob ; Jean and brother in law Bob Swick; Keith Trickett and baby sister Debbie. Also predeceased by a niece Amanda and nephew Daniel.

A public Graveside Service to remember Linda has taken place at Fairview Cemetery, Port Rowan, on Saturday, July 16th, at 11:00 a.m. Words of comfort were offered by Pastor John Twinem, of Springfield Baptist Church.
