Obituary for Louis Wm. Kovacs
Passed away, suddenly, unexpectedly at the Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital, after a struggle with illness, Louis Kovacs of Tillsonburg and formerly of Otterville in his 79th year. Lifelong resident of the Tillsonburg area. Louis was a hard-working man that loved the outdoors. He retired from a life of farming in 2008. He was a wonderful father who taught his boys the importance of kindness and a good work ethic. Loving husband of 57 years and best friend of Madeline (DeGroote) Kovacs. Loved father and father-in-law of: Louie Kovacs Jr. (Linda) and their children, Kristin (Kris) and Kevin, Delhi; and Robert Kovacs (Bonnie) and children, Nicholas and Caitlin, Otterville. Louis is survived by his loving mother Mary (Szanto) Kovacs, of Courtland and is predeceased by his father James Kovacs (1978) and brother James Kovacs (2013). Louis is also survived by a brother-in-law and sister-in-law, nieces, nephews and cousins. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

Public visitation will take place on Tuesday, July 7th, with three time slots available: 6:00 to 7:00 pm and 7:15 to 8:00 pm and 8:15 to 9:00 pm. Funeral Service to Celebrate Louis’ Life and family legacy will be celebrated on Wednesday, July 8th, 2020 at 11:00 am by Rev. Pastor Paul Robinson of the St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, Tillsonburg in the MAURICE J. VERHOEVE FUNERAL HOMES – BURIAL AND CREMATION SERVICES INC.
