Obituary for Louise Ada Moore (Robillard)

MOORE, Louise Ada (nee Robillard) (1919-2021) –

We the family sadly announce the peaceful passing of our much-loved mother and friend, Louise Ada (nee Robillard) Moore, on October 20, 2021, at Maple Manor Long Term Care, Tillsonburg, at the age of 102. Louise was born in village of Greenwood, Ontario to the late Joseph and Mary Robillard. She was predeceased by her husband Edward David Moore (1984). Louise is survived by her much loved and caring son Wm. ‘Bill’ Moore, of Tillsonburg. She is predeceased by her daughter Jessie Moore (1944) and by seven siblings. During World War Two, Louise was a factory worker and in later years she was employed by Union Gas as a secretary. Louise was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 36, Dundas, ON. She will always be remembered for her fabulous baking and her incredible homemade pies.

In keeping with Louise’s expressed wishes, cremation has taken place following a private family viewing. All who knew Louise are encouraged to offer their support and care by sharing special memories, posting photos, sending flowers, or by contributing memorial donations to the “Canadian Cancer Society” through Louise’s tribute page at www.verhoevefuneralhomes.com or by contacting the Maurice J. Verhoeve Funeral Homes – Burial and Cremation Services Inc., Tillsonburg (519-842-4238), which has been entrusted with all arrangements, with confidence.

“Thank you to the caring PSW’s, Nurses, Doctors and Staff at Maple Manor Long Term Care for their excellent treatment and care for Louise.”
