Passed away, peacefully, on August 24th, 2019, at his home, Quarter Town Line Rd., Tillsonburg. Marcel Verstraeten was in his 84th year. Born in Stekene, E.F., Belgium, son of Willem Josef Verstraeten (1959) and Augusta Marie (DeBruyne) Verstraeten (1998). Survived by a sister Germaine (Verstraeten) Van Aerde of Tillsonburg and the late Omer Van Aerde (2000). Predeceased by a brother Albert Verstraeten (2011) and his wife Fern Verstraeten (2011). Predeceased by a nephew Roger Van Aerde (2010) and Michel Van Aerde (1999) who is survived by his wife Maureen and their children. Also survived by a niece Arlene (Mike) Tratnik and their children, of Stouffville.
