Obituary for Marcella Julienne Kunderman (Verscheure)
Passed away, peacefully, at Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital, on Friday, September 13th, 2019, Marcella Julienne Kunderman, a lifelong resident of Tillsonburg, in her 81st year. Beloved wife of George Kunderman of 61 wonderful years. Survived by a daughter Marcia and her husband Doug Fletcher and by her son Brian Kunderman. Proud grandmother of Tanya, Lesley, Derek, Candace, and Brianne. Great-grandmother of Daniel, Makensie, Braden and Mabel. Sister-in-law to Joe Kunderman (Grace), Ilene Verscheure, Maurice Deketelaere, Larry Loucks. Predeceased by her siblings Noel Verscheure, Yvonne Deketelaere, Marcel Verscheure, Agnes Vandergunst, Mary Louise “Whiz” Loucks. Marcella also leaves behind many nieces and nephews.
Marcella will be remembered for her love, care and dedication for her family. She was a loyal employee at Canadian Tire Tillsonburg for almost 30 years. In keeping with Marcella’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Friends, neighbours and relatives are invited to attend a public time of visitation to Celebrate Marcella’s Life on Friday, September 20th, 2019 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. in the Maurice J. Verhoeve Funeral Homes- Burial and Cremation Services Inc. Chapel, 262 Broadway Street, Tillsonburg 519-842-4238. A Private Complete Liturgical Service to Celebrate Marcella’s Life will take place at a later date. Memorial donations to the “Heart and Stroke Foundation” or the “Ontario SPCA” or the “Animalert Pet Adoptions Inc.” may be made through the Maurice J. Verhoeve Funeral Homes, Tillsonburg, which has been entrusted with all funeral arrangements.
