Obituary for Diane Kisilak

Welcomed Safely Home into the loving Arms of her Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, on Thursday, January 16th, 2020 at Woodingford Lodge, Tillsonburg, with loving family by her side, “Diane” Mary Kisilak formerly of Woodstock in her 73rd year. Diane was born in Tillsonburg, daughter of the late Alphonse and Anna (Stoner) Laplante and was much loved by her family and many friends. She was a member of St. Mary’s Church, Tillsonburg and Calvary Church, Woodstock. Diane was a dedicated employee of Fleck Manufacturing, Tillsonburg, for many years.

Diane had various interests, including knitting, sewing, crafts, trivia, jigsaw and world puzzles, Christian hymn sings, worship music, working in her garden, day trips and reminiscing. She also enjoyed reading romance and mystery novels, watching romantic and mystery movies, and in former days her beloved stamp collection.

Diane was married to the late Ludvik Kisilak (1991). Much loved mother of Anastasia (Jeremy Purdy) and sister of Ronald Laplante, Charmaine Dykstra (Schelte), Richard Laplante (Josephine), Paul Laplante and sister-in law of Vivian, Marlene and Mary Lynne Laplante. Predeceased by an infant sister Mary Elaine Laplante and two brothers Roger and Joseph Laplante and much loved Uncle Paul.

In keeping with Diane’s expressed wishes cremation has taken place. Friends and relatives are invited to participate in a Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday, January 23rd, 2020 at 11 am at St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, 51 Venison Street West, Tillsonburg, by Rev. Fr. Thomas Donohue, followed by Interment at Tillsonburg Cemetery.
