Passed away, at the Hardy Terrace, Mount Pleasant, on Saturday, November 9th, 2019, Maryida Currin R.N.A., formerly of Brantford and Walsingham, in her 100th year. Maryida was a dedicated R.N.A. Nurse at Brantford General Hospital for over 21 years retiring in 1985. She resided in Brantford and is formerly of Walsingham. Maryida was an adherent to the former Walsingham United Church. Predeceased by her beloved husband Marvin Currin (January 9, 1945). Much loved mother and mother-in-law of: Lonnie Currin, Toronto and Meta (Roger Goddyn), Brantford. Loved grandmother of: Lorrie Hargas (Frank) and Paul Goddyn; great grandmother of: Tabitha, Samantha, Justin and John; great-great grandmother of Chasin and Kyra. Predeceased by her parents Henry Schilz and the former Pearl Butcher.

Family Visitation/Private Services at the MAURICE J. VERHOEVE FUNERAL HOMES – BURIAL AND CREMATION SERVICES INC., 40 Queen Street, Langton on Wednesday, November 13th, 2019 from 12 noon to 1 pm. Following visitation a Funeral Service will take place on Wednesday at 1pm at the Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Walsingham by Bill Mackinnon LLWL from the Sydenham United Church, Brantford. Memorial donations to the charity of your choice would be gratefully acknowledged by the family and may be made through the Maurice J. Verhoeve Funeral Homes – Burial and Cremation Services Inc, Langton 519-842-4238, which has been entrusted with all funeral arrangements.

So sorry to read about your moms passing. I am sure she is up in heaven with Reg and Bea watching us all and making lots of comments. She was a lovely lady. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
