It is with great sadness, that we the family, announce the sudden passing of our much-loved son, grandson, father, brother, partner, and friend to many, Nathaniel (“Nathan”) Andrew Dalton, of Kitchener, on June 22, 2022, at the age of 32. Nathan will be remembered for his love for mountain biking, as an avid gym-goer, for his musical talents on the drums and playing the guitar. Nathan was an Heavy Equipment Operator, employed with the City of Guelph. Nathan was born in Woodstock, to his loving mother Catherine (nee Cook) Dalton, of Ingersoll and to his father Darren Dalton, of Sault Ste. Marie. Always a devoted and caring father to his young son Nico Dalton (Nico’s mother, Holly Dalton, of Guelph). Caring brother to Paul (fiancé Mary); Samuel (Christine); stepbrother Cameron. Lovingly remembered by his girlfriend Amber Zarzycki, of Kitchener. Nathan was the adored grandson of Paula Jones (Brian Branton), of Tillsonburg and Warren and Eleanor Dalton, of Woodstock. Special uncle to Henry and Norah. Survived by his favourite aunt Lora Gray and family, of Mississauga, by his father-in-law and mother-in-law Scott and Barb Totten, of Ingersoll, as well as by several aunts, uncles, and cousins. Predeceased by his infant brother Cornelius Dalton.

Cremation has taken place. A private family-only graveside service to Celebrate Nathan’s Life and Memory will be held in the Ingersoll Rural Cemetery, by Pastor Steve Twinem, of Truth Community Church, Thamesford. Friends, neighbours and relatives are invited to offer their support by sharing fond memories, favourite photos, or in lieu of flowers, contributing memorial donations towards an R.E.S.P. for Nico (cheques made out to “Holly Dalton”, memo line: Nico RESP) or to the “Canadian Mental Health Association” via Nathan’s online tribute page at www.verhoevefuneralhomes.com or by contacting the Maurice J.
