Obituary

Passed away, suddenly and peacefully on Wednesday, February 12, 2020 at LHSC – Victoria Hospital from injuries sustained in an accident, with his loving family by his side, (Pat) Patrick Joseph Vienneau of Port Burwell in his 82nd year. Proud and dedicated member of the Knights of Columbus Council #4189, Aylmer and Our Lady of Sorrows R.C. Church, Aylmer. Resident of London for over 40 years and resident of Port Burwell for over 25 years. Dedicated former Machine Mechanic at the former Kellogg’s Plant, London for over 37 years retiring in 1994. Pat was joyfully dedicated to his wife and family. Pat met his best friend and beloved wife Doris Rollande (Lauzon) Vienneau in first grade, celebrating 75 years of love. Pat is the loving father of his son Marc (Brenda) Vienneau and their children: Ben, Alex; and a daughter Renee (Luc) Bourgeois and their children: Justin and Jared; and a daughter Nicole Vienneau (Patrick O’Connor). Loved brother of Leo Vienneau, Raymond Vienneau and Henri Vienneau. Predeceased by his parents Benoit Vienneau and Tilda (Godin) Vienneau and a brother Magela Vienneau, a brother Aurele Vienneau, sister Rosalie (Vienneau) Richer, sister Yvonne (Vienneau) Tremblay.

In keeping with Patrick’s wishes cremation has taken place after a short family time of remembrance with Pat. Funeral Mass to celebrate Patrick’s life and faith on Tuesday, February 18th, 2020 at 10 am (Rosary at 9:15 am) at Our Lady of Sorrows R.C. Church, 116 John Street, Aylmer by Rev. Fr. Graham Keep. In lieu of flowers, the family has a preference for memorial donations to the “Aylmer Knights of Columbus #4189” or the “Children’s Health Foundation” through the MAURICE J. VERHOEVE FUNERAL HOMES - BURIAL AND CREMATION SERICES INC., 262 Broadway Street, Tillsonburg (519-842-4238), entrusted with all funeral arrangements.

We were privelged to meet Pat at the small coffee shop in Port Burwell early in the mornings.
He shared stories of his life and tmes up north and his love of Ontario north. His wit and sense of humour will be missed by many. We bid Pat's family the gift of cherised memories. In Faith, Jack and Phyllis B.

My sincere condolences and hugs to all.. Pat and Doris were so kind to me many years ago and we shared so many laughs... the Wonderful kids were young at the time and probably don’t remember me too much but I have fond memories of all of you❤️.. they also were so great to my daughter Lise when she went to live in Ontario. We as former restaurant owners at Goldie’s restaurant in Vienna we are very saddened by pat’s passing ,he was a regular customer at our restaurant ,loved his morning coffee and English muffin and came back and got his crispy fries

Dad was a creature of habit and enjoyed popping into your place for coffee, munchies and crispy fries- he LOVED crispy fries- especially the little crunchy ones at the bottom. :) Thank you for your message, Mom also says thank you.
