Obituary for Raymond Dalton Copage

Passed away, peacefully, in his sleep, Raymond Dalton Copage, of Tillsonburg in his 88th year on Wednesday, April 1, 2020, at the Woodingford Lodge, Ingersoll with his loving wife of 65 years Doreen (Ward) Copage, a resident of Beckett Blvd., Tillsonburg. Born in Kentville, Nova Scotia son of the late Joseph Copage and the late Margaret Pettipas. Beloved husband of Doreen. Loved father and father-in-law of: Michael (Linda), St. Martins, N.B.; Terry (Kelly), Edmonton: Donna (Cantel), New Carlisle, Quebec; Beverly (Bob Hanna), Tillsonburg; Brenda (Rick Nicholson), Woodstock; and Linda Hill, Montreal, Quebec. Loving grandfather of 12 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Raymond is survived by 2 brothers and 4 sisters, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was always especially very close to his eldest sister Diane. Predeceased by a sister Louise and a brother Stewart.

A Funeral Service and a Graveside Service will take place this summer in New Carlisle, Quebec. Memorial donations online or by cheque to the “Alzheimer Society of Oxford” or to the “Canadian Cancer Society” would be gratefully appreciated by the family and can be made through the MAURICE J.
