Our beloved father Richard, passed away on Monday, August 5, 2019 in Woodstock, Ontario at the age of 93. Dad was born in Romania on February 23, 1926 and immigrated to Canada as a child with his parents and older brother John. They settled in Alberta before moving to Ontario. Richard married Shirley Rosehart in 1962 and together raised four children Terry, JoAnn, Patty and Ken. Dad is predeceased by his loving wife of 53 years Shirley in 2015, oldest son Terry in 2019 and his siblings Harold, Nellie, Margaret, Betty and Rita. Dad is survived by daughter JoAnn and her children Lindsay (Simon) and Mackenzie (Ashley), daughter Patty (John Haney) and son Ken (Trisha) and their sons Jay and Matthew. Dad is also survived by his older brother John (Renate), brother and sister in laws, nieces and nephews.

Visitation and funeral to take place at Peace Lutheran Church, 60 Young Street Tillsonburg on Saturday August 10, 2019. Visitation to start at 10:00 am, funeral service at 11:00 am by Rev. Paul Schallhorn followed by lunch with the interment at 1:30 pm at the Langton Baptist Cemetery.
