It is with sad hearts, we announce the sudden passing of our much-loved husband, father, papa, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend to many, Robert “Bob” Kershaw, of Tillsonburg, formerly of Langton, on Tuesday, June 8th, 2021, at the age of 74 years. Son of the late Glen and Helen Kershaw (nee Fletcher). Bob is survived by his loving wife Jeanette (nee Sinden) of 54 years. Bob is the very proud dad of his two children, Kerry Kershaw and Kim Kershaw-Woon. He is a very proud Papa to Reece Woon. Survived by his brother Jim (Susan) Kershaw, of Langton and Karen (Martin) Perrin, of Nanoose Bay, B.C. Brother-in-law to Gary Sinden, of Courtland, Dave (Jane) Sinden, of Langton, Daryl (Sandy) Sinden, of Port Rowan, Randy (Wendy) Sinden, of Cambridge, and Wayne (Rose) Sinden, of Eden. Bob was uncle to many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his sister-in-law Janice Yallop (2020) and his niece Natalie (1991).

Over the years, you may have known him as “Big Bob”, proprietor of “Big Bob’s Bar-B-Que” as well as “R.W. Bob Kershaw Contracting”. He also had a long career with the Ministry of Transportation Roads Department, Courtland, where he made many lifelong friends. Bob was a member of the Langton Lions Club for many years. He loved fast cars, boating, fishing, and shooting the breeze with friends he met along his journey, new and old. Bob and Jeanette spent many years working with Shackleton’s Auctions and MacDonald Turkey Point Marina with their food truck, where they met some wonderful people. Bob had a way to meet people everywhere he went, and always had time for a good chat or quick laugh. His memories, story telling and love for his family will be cherishes and kept close to our hearts.

“The family wishes to extend our appreciation to Dr. Roth and all the staff at Woodingford Lodge, Tillsonburg for all their care and support during Bob’s final journey.”

In keeping with Bob’s wishes, cremation has taken place.
