Kish, Rose Kathleen (nee Marciniec) (March 6, 1938 - April 5, 2022) –
We the family announce the peaceful passing of our much-loved wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend, Rose Kathleen Kish, a resident of Simcoe, on April 5th, 2022, at the Norfolk General Hospital, at the age of 84. Rose was born in Fork River, Manitoba to the late Joseph Marciniec and late former Josephine Kuzmak. Rose is survived by her husband and best friend of 58 wonderful years, Frank Kish, of Simcoe. Lovingly remembered by her children and families: Cathy (Bill Bishop), of Simcoe; Frank Kish Jr. (Edie Punt), of Redlands, California and proud grandmother to their sons Ian and Eric. Rose is survived by her sister Bernice Hosack (late Jim), of Port Colborne; brother Tom Marciniec (Bev), of St. Catharine’s; and by four sisters-in-law Elizabeth Seitler, Margaret Telek, Esther Kiss, Irene Liptak all of Hungary. Also survived by several nieces and nephews: Katherine, Ken, Laura, Joe, Genny, Gabby, Leslie, Kathy, Erica and Ildiko. Predeceased by three siblings: Kay Thompson, Evie Marciniec, and Mary Dugas.
In keeping with Rose’s expressed wishes, cremation has taken place. Private family graveside service will be held later in Oakwood Cemetery Columbarium Wall, Simcoe.
