Roy Overland born in 1924, passed away in 2021. Cherished husband of Mary Overland for 69 wonderful years. Passed away at LHSC – Victoria Hospital in his sleep, just weeks short of his 98th birthday. Very dear father to Robert (Debbie), of RR6 Tillsonburg. Dear brother of Kenneth (predeceased), Bernice (predeceased), Gordon (predeceased), Doreen Wilson, Peggy Muscott (deceased), and Charles (predeceased). Roy is survived by many nieces and nephews. He was the son of Charles and Hazel Overland of Toronto, both deceased. Roy was a volunteer driver for the Tillsonburg Livingston Centre. Roy was a World War II veteran of the RCAF, serving some of the time in England. Very close friend of Doreen McConnell and family. Member of Avondale United Church, and resident of Hickory Hills since 1988. Roy was the kindest, most loyal husband and father, never saying a bad word against anyone and always finding something nice instead.

Cremation has taken place. Roy will be resting in the Springfield Cemetery. No visitation, as requested by Roy.
