Obituary for Ryan Helsen

It is with great sadness, we the family announce the passing of our much-loved son, brother, uncle and friend to many, Ryan George Ronnie Helsen, on May 20th, 2021 at his late Courtland residence, at the age of 44. Born in Tillsonburg, Ontario to his caring father Ronnie Helsen, of Courtland and to his late mother Francine Anna (Notte) Helsen (March 16, 1981). Lovingly remembered by his stepmother Patty Vanden Bussche, of Courtland and by his sister Sandra (Marc LeBouthillier), of Courtland and their children: Alexander, Abbygayle, and Addison. Also mourned by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Predeceased by his grandparents George and Denise Notte and George and Mariette Helsen. He also leaves behind his loyal bullmastiff, Jax. Over the years, Ryan was a proud trucker for various companies. He was also a member of Sacred Heart R.C. Church, Langton.

In keeping with Ryan’s expressed wishes, cremation has taken place. A Private Family Funeral Liturgy to Celebrate Ryan’s Life will be held on Saturday, May 29th, at 10:00 a.m. in the Maurice J. Verhoeve Funeral Homes – Burial and Cremation Services Inc. Chapel, Langton, by Rev. Father Thomas Kuriacko.

Private family interment will follow in the Sacred Heart R.C. Cemetery, Langton.
