Obituary for Ryan David Vandepoele
VANDEPOELE, Ryan David (August 28, 1980 – March 10, 2022)-
It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the sudden passing of Ryan David Vandepoele of Langton, on Thursday, March 10th, 2022, at the age of 41.
Ryan will be dearly missed by his loving children, Elena, Evelyn and Brock, and his beloved wife Julie (Van Den Elsen) Vandepoele. Much loved son of David and Darlene (Pype) Vandepoele, Langton and dearly loved brother of Brett Vandepoele, Langton and Amy (Ryan Johnson), Waterloo. Survived by his father-in-law and mother-in-law Ed and Marg Van Den Elsen, Waterford and his sister-in-law Sara Van Den Elsen. Also survived by several aunts, uncles, and cousins. Predeceased by much-loved brother Justin Robert Vandepoele (December 1, 2003), also predeceased by his grandparents: Marie and Louis Vandepoele and Madeleine and Robert Pype.
Ryan was a Graduate of VHSS, Langton and of the Construction and Maintenance Electrician Programme at Conestoga College. He was a member of Sacred Heart R.C. Church, Langton. Ryan became a proud Tobacco Farmer like his father and grandfathers before him, continuing their legacy. He was passionate about muscle cars and took pride in maintaining their glory. Ryan cherished his friends, young and old, across the county.
Friends, neighbours, and relatives are invited to attend a public visitation on Monday, March 14th, 2022, from 4:00 to 8:00 pm in the Maurice J. Verhoeve Funeral Homes - Burial and Cremation Services Inc. Chapel, 40 Queen St., Langton (519)842-4238. All attendees must wear a face mask. Private Family Funeral Mass of Christian Burial to follow on Tuesday morning at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, 24 Albert Street, Langton by Rev. Father Thomas Kuriacko. Interment follows in the Sacred Heart R.C. Cemetery, Langton. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations towards the establishment of a trust fund to support the young Vandepoele children would be gratefully acknowledged.
