Obituary for Thea Lynn Ellis
It is with deep sorrow, we the Ellis family share the passing of our beloved daughter, sister and friend, Thea (Aka ‘Jackie’) Lynn Ellis, on December 8th, 2020 at her late Toronto residence, at the age of 39. Thea is the eldest daughter to her much loved and caring parents Kelly (Cornwall) Ellis and Philip Ellis, of Tillsonburg. Thea cared deeply for her dogs Chelsea and Gizzard. She could be described as funny, very giving, and delightfully caring to others- especially to her much-loved nieces and nephews. She really enjoyed putting smiles on the faces of all that knew her. She will be greatly missed by her sister Tina Ellis (Jeff Price), of Tillsonburg; her sister Jennifer Robertson-Morrison, of Collingwoood; her sister Jasmine Akreal, of British Columbia; her brother-in-law Tom Blakley (late Tanya Ellis-Blakley (Nov 14, 2020)), of RR7 Tillsonburg, her grandfather Donald Ellis (late Kathleen Olive (2020)), her nieces and nephews Cherry, Tyler, Tegan, Branden, Avea and by many extended family members. Also survived by her close friend Richard Coda and by her wonderful supportive loving friends Collin Young, Rudy, Lil T, and Dave, all of Toronto.

Due to covid-19 attendance-related restrictions, the Memorial Service to Celebrate Thea’s Life will be private and held on Friday, December 18th, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. in the Maurice J. Verhoeve Funeral Homes- Burial and Cremation Services Inc. Chapel, Tillsonburg by Captain Nancy Sheils, of the Salvation Army Community Church. For those unable to attend, a livestream will be available. A link will be posted to Thea’s tribute page (under photos and videos) by 12:00 p.m. on Friday. Memorial donations in memory of Thea to a trust for her sister Tanya’s children can be made by cheque (payable to “Georgette Blakley”) and can be made through the Maurice J. Verhoeve Funeral Homes, Tillsonburg (519-842-4238), entrusted with all funeral arrangements, with confidence.
