Passed away, peacefully, after a short illness, on Sunday, November 8th, 2020, with his loving wife Nancy and loving family by his side, Vern Albert Rushinko, a lifelong resident of Delhi, in his 82nd year. Born in Delhi son of the late Charles Rushinko and the late former Annie (Tateryn) Rushinko. He will be greatly missed by his wife of 55 years Nancy and greatly missed as well by his daughter Michelle, son Brian and “his boy” grandson Nickolas. Vern is survived by brothers: Robert, Richard and a brother-in-law Joe Bednarz.Vern was predeceased by his brother Walter; sisters: Rosie Bednarz and Rita Grys and a niece Linda Lesprance.
In keeping with Vern’s expressed wishes, cremation has taken place. Friends and relatives are invited to offer support and caring by posting photos, notes of tribute, favourite memories and hugs from home on Vern’s tribute page at www.verhoevefuneralhomes.com. A Private Family Graveside Service will take place on Thursday, November 12th, 2020 at the Delhi Cemetery. All attendees must bring and wear a face covering. Please do not attend if you are ill, have been around someone that is ill, or have recently travelled outside of Canada.
