Obituary for Walter James "Pappy" Ralph
RALPH, Walter James (May 17, 1929 – October 28, 2022) -
Walter James Ralph joined the love of his life, Jo, on October 28th, 2022, at V.O.N. Sakura House, Woodstock, after a brief illness. They are together again teaching the angels how to line dance. He will be greatly missed by his daughters, Vickie and Donna and his son Steven (wife Leslie) and his adored grandson Nicholas as well as his many nieces and nephews. Dad worked in construction with V. Cascone & Sons for 25 years before working with the City of Mississauga. He retired as District Supervisor in 1994. He continued working part time as a consultant for a further 10 years before he fully retired. He loved hockey and volunteered in many roles and coached for a number of years. He was our hero and the heartbeat of our family. He was there supporting and helping whenever needed. Jo was the love of his life for 73 years and they loved going for drives and travelling. He kept us laughing and smiling right to the end.

Friends, neighbours, and relatives are invited to attend public visitation on Thursday, November 3rd, 2022, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon (service time) in the Maurice J. Verhoeve Funeral Homes Chapel, 262 Broadway, Tillsonburg. A public Funeral Service to Celebrate both Walter and Jo’s Lives will be conducted on Thursday, beginning at 12:00 noon, in the Verhoeve Funeral Homes Chapel, Tillsonburg, by Rev. Peter Ralph. Cremation follows. Everyone who knew Walter (or Jo) are welcomed to share favourite memories, photos, or in lieu of flowers, to contribute memorial donations to “V.O.N.
