Obituary for Wm. "Bill" Curtis

CURTIS, William ‘Bill’ Edwin Levi (May 11, 1949 – February 8, 2022) –

Passed away, surrounded by his loving family, on February 8, 2022 at his late Etobicoke residence, William ‘Bill’ Edwin Levi Curtis, formerly of Tillsonburg and RR1 Brownsville (Delmer), at the age of 72. Bill was born to the late Edwin Isaac Curtis (2000) and to the late former Clara Jean Minshall (2011). A past member of the former Delmer United Church and the Brownsville and Tillsonburg Optimist Clubs, Bill retired from the Canada Post, where he was a contract rural postal worker. Predeceased by his first wife of 25 years, Donna Jean (Knights) Curtis (Nov. 15, 2004). Survived by his wife of 14 wonderful years, Charmaine Shelton Curtis and by his caring stepchildren Mario Shelton (wife Precious Shelton), of Etobicoke and Natalya Mantosh (husband Samuel Mantosh), of India. Dearly missed by three grandchildren: Xylah Shelton, Keanu Shelton and Ethan Mantosh. Survived by his brothers Barry (Pat) Curtis, Steven Curtis Predeceased by a sister-in-law Chandnidei (2008), by his brother-in-law Daniel Bryan and by nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In keeping with Bill’s expressed wishes cremation has taken place. A graveside service to honour Bill’s Life will take place at a later date in the Curtis Family Plot in Delmer Cemetery.
