Maurice Verhoeve
Licensed Funeral Director - Class One, Owner
*Managing Funeral Director, Langton Establishment
From the age of ten, Maurice assisted his father in various ways around the funeral home. Upon graduating from Annandale High School as an Ontario Scholar, Maurice pursued his Funeral Director’s education at Humber College, graduating in 1982 with honours and having achieved the highest mark in two courses of significance. Maurice was mentored by his late father, Hector D. Verhoeve, who had high standards of funeral service that he strictly upheld. Maurice has been proudly a licensed funeral director for thirty-seven years, who, along with his father, has served four generations of area families. In 2016, Maurice became the new owner of Maurice J. Verhoeve Funeral Homes-Burial and Cremation Services Inc., continuing to make every effort to treat others in the same way he would want to be treated. Maurice takes pride in being an active, community-minded individual, as a member of both the Knights of Columbus and the Tillsonburg Lions Club. Maurice and his wife, Margaret, have three children, and also love spending time with their four young grandchildren.
